"On February 18, 2009, Lorain County Community College suffered a fire that could have been disastrous to our college, students and community. Thankfully, there was no loss of life, but we were faced with a significant amount of smoke damage which forced us to cancel classes.

Fortunately our insurance advisors, The Hoffman Group, had met with us a year and a half before the fire and worked with us to enhance our Disaster Recovery Program, enlisting the services of several contractors including a large and capable restoration contractor to be on call if we suffered a loss.
